SUMMARY:persian girl play by Ida Esmaeli
DESCRIPTION:Synopsis: In a small town outside of New York City\, a tight-knit group of Iranian teenagers comes together over the course of a spring semester to do normal teenage things: fall in love\, read fortunes in coffee\, and complain about their "vay\, vay\, vay" Persian parents. When a world-rocking series of events threatens to tear apart their lifelong friendship\, they're forced to confront the reality that growing up happens a lot faster than any of them were prepared for.\n\nCome be a part of the creative process as this new play comes to life through the magic of a dramatic reading. Be sure to stay for the talkbacks and share your insights with the artists.\nJoin us for the readings on Thursday\, Oct 15\, at 1:30 pm and Friday\, Oct 16 at 7:30 pm at SOU's Main Stage Theatre\, 491 S. Mountain Ave\, Ashland.\nGet your tickets today:\nhttps://ashlandnewplays.org/fall-festival/\n\nhttps://storytownashland.com/events/persian-girl-play-by-ida-esmaeli
