SUMMARY:You Are Cordially Invited to the End of the World!
DESCRIPTION:This raucous comedy by Keiko Green follows Greg\, a man who's always done everything right—recycling\, eating well\, loving his family—until a terminal illness forces him to confront climate change and his own mortality. As Greg becomes fixated on the fate of the planet\, his wife and grown child grapple with their own worlds falling apart. The play blends grief with cringe-worthy family dinners\, lawnmowers\, Greta Thunberg\, gay bars and awkward support groups\, creating an exquisitely touching and hilarious story for anyone who has ever lost a loved one or laughed at a funeral.\n\nWritten by Keiko Green\nDirected by Zi Alikhan\n\nNarrated by M\, a non-binary aspiring performer processing their father's cancer diagnosis\, the dramedy includes some profanity and is recommended for students mature enough to handle the themes.\n\nhttps://storytownashland.com/events/you-are-cordially-invited-to-the-end-of-the-world
