City of Ashland Parks & Recreation presents

Celebrate America's Independence Day in Ashland! After the morning parade, Lithia Park comes alive with activities, performances, food, and family fun through the afternoon.
Lithia Park Activities: Ashland Aerial Arts performs on the front lawn.
Winburn Way: Food vendors line the street — Laika's Lox & Bagels, Hilltop Coffee, Full Moon Crepes, Tale of the Dog, Caba Empanadas, Sultan's Delight, Mahalo Shave Ice, Amigo Club Ice Cream, and Jack Frost Shave Ice — plus a Craft & Information Booth.
Kid's Zone (on the lawn by the Perozzi Fountain): Free games including corn hole, giant Jenga & Yahtzee, Connect 4, bocce ball, and more, with Daydreams Face Painting and Jack Frost Shave Ice.
Bandshell Performances (after the parade until 3:30 PM): The Ashland City Band takes the stage with a welcome address by Mayor Graham, greetings from Ashland's sister city Guanajuato, the national anthems of the United States and Mexico, and the Gettysburg Address delivered by Bob Jackson Miner as Abraham Lincoln. Also featured: a reading of the Declaration of Independence by Brian Tingle, a recitation of Paul Revere's Ride by Carey Mastain, and a set from Nina and the Notes, a classic R&B/soul cover band.
