Hands-On Workshop Series (2 of 3): Farm, Garden, & Landscape Restoration Without Herbicides

Join part 2 of a three-part, hands-on workshop series exploring practical, ecological approaches to farming and landscape restoration without herbicides. Through field demonstrations, restoration site tours, and collaborative learning, participants will gain tools and knowledge to support healthy, resilient landscapes. This workshop showcases key restoration projects at the Vesper Meadow Restoration Preserve, including six years of work toward restoring native First Foods, pollinator and grassland habitat. Part 2 focuses on strategies for holistic ecosystem restoration and climate resilience, with tours through beaver-based restoration areas of Latgawa Creek and a proposed forest restoration site. Ideal for farmers, land managers, students, conservation professionals, and community members—no prior experience required.
