Mosaic Workshop: Building Tile Mosaics

This multi-day workshop guides you through the complete process of building a mosaic from start to finish. You'll make your own tile pieces, then shape, texture, and glaze them before assembling everything into one finished piece. The workshop covers practical techniques like managing shrinkage and preventing warping, while emphasizing design planning, creative texturing, and personal expression.

The workshop spans five sessions over two weeks, beginning with design and tile-shaping, progressing through cleaning and glazing, and concluding with assembly, grouting, and final finishing. All clay, tools, and glazes are included in the class fee. This class is for adults ages 17 and up.
