Join Vesper Meadow and partners to learn organic methods for managing unwanted weeds, improving soils, and preparing ground for native plant seeding. Participants tour established meadow plots and help prepare seeding areas by removing landscape tarps, spreading seeds, and raking, with Jeanine Moy also guiding a walk through the pollinator gardens and tips for growing natives at home. Led alongside Rhianna Simes of Verdant Phoenix Farms and Cultivate Oregon, with support from Jackson County Soil and Water Conservation District. No experience necessary; gloves, drinks, and snacks provided, and RSVP is required.
