A nationwide program initiated by the Hawai'i America250 Commission commemorating 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was first read to the public on July 8, 1776. Americans across all 50 States, 5 Territories, the District of Columbia, and Minor Outlying Islands will read the Declaration of Independence together at the same time, starting at 3pm PST on July 8, 2026, bridging the thousands of miles and ten time zones that span the country.
