Theatre of the Oppressed Workshop

Rochelle will be taking a Theatre of the Oppressed workshop from Julian Boal in Minneapolis and will bring what she learns home to Ashland to share with you! We will explore the ways that we understand the world through stories, TV, and movies and then challenge those beliefs in a way that feeds social change by connecting with OUR story/ies. No theater or improv experience required, but participants should expect to join in exercises that include movement and speaking. Spots are limited.

Rochelle is a member of Off Script and Improv Alchemy improv troupes, and also an actor and conductor in local Playback Theatre. She is known for her kind and attentive, yet productive, facilitation of meetings and workshops.
