Wheel Throwing Try Night

An introductory wheel throwing experience perfect for beginners. The evening starts with a teacher demonstration, followed by hands-on clay and wheel time for each participant. Instructors Cate Quinn and Julie Furrer will guide you through the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel. Each participant will have the opportunity to create a piece, select one to be fired and glazed, and pick it up three weeks later. This class is for ages 17 and up, and out-of-town guests can arrange for shipping of their finished pieces.
