Programs

Eventorship

To create an ever-flowing calendar of events for Ashland we recently launched the ‘Eventorship’ program — a mentorship pathway designed to take event ideas and develop them into successful, sustainable events that will, over time, fill our calendar with a cultural richness that reflects the unique personality of this town and helps Ashland realize its full potential as a year-round destination.

Free Bike Valet

Our partnership with SOU student athletes proved that Ashland's cycling community was waiting to be activated. This year, we're expanding the program — more events, more athletes, more bikes, more proof that Ashland moves better when it moves together.

Year One

In our first year we successfully rebranded Ashland as ‘Storytown’ and made headlines in 20+ media outlets along the way. With the inaugural Ashland Sarcasm Festival, we began filling the calendar with premium programming. We launched the Eventorship mentorship pathway to grow the next generation of Ashland event producers, and the Free Bike Valet program in partnership with SOU student athletes — proving that Ashland's cycling community was waiting to be activated. Across all of it, we fostered collaboration among entities that normally operate in silos, demonstrating that Storytown is a problem-solving force that will continue to push toward a revitalized community where young people and young families can thrive.
