Agarita

Agarita, an innovative chamber ensemble from San Antonio, Texas, presents an eclectic program featuring music from across centuries. The performance interwaves classical masterworks by J.S. Bach and Charles Ives with contemporary compositions, accompanied by poetry readings from acclaimed writer Naomi Shihab Nye. The ensemble is known for bold, collaborative musical events that challenge the traditional concert experience and offer accessible, spirited performances of classical and contemporary music.
