Each October, chalk artists transform 5th and H streets in Grants Pass's Historic District into a temporary street gallery. This year's theme is "Reflections," and the festival runs October 2-4, 2026. It is the first event held in the new Owl Plaza.
The festival features 17 featured artists, 23 volunteer artists (including youth teams from local high schools), 10 live music bands, 67 craft vendors, 4 food trucks, live dance performances, youth activities, and goodie bags for kids. Featured artists work in 3-D, 12x12, and 10x10 formats, and volunteer artists create 8x8 pieces.
Live music in the Owl Plaza runs all weekend. Friday has Josephine Jukebox, Mr. Vale's Math Class, and Rudy Love & The Encore. Saturday has Ashleigh Flynn & The Riveters, Gafas Oscuras, MT Jones, and The Great North Special. Sunday has The Paper Flares, Sofia Renee, and The Jared Masters Problem. Festival hours are Friday 4-10 PM, Saturday 9 AM-10 PM, and Sunday 9 AM-4 PM.
