Bear Gulch Preserve Adventure Hike

Join the Southern Oregon Land Conservancy for an adventure hike to Bear Gulch Preserve, located in the Colestin Valley and Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. Starting near the wildlife crossing on I-5, hikers will walk through the Mariposa Botanical Area to reach a striking canyon at this invitation-only preserve, with an optional extension to Chocolate Falls on BLM Land. Guided by Bird Biologist Frank Lospalluto and Botanist Kristi Mergenthaler, the hike covers up to 5.5 miles with moderate to difficult terrain, 800 feet of elevation gain, and off-trail sections. Limited to 15 hikers.
