The Bioregional Explorers Club facilitates communities of practice who gather locally to explore, define, and foster bioregional consciousness and culture. The first chapter meets in the greater SF Bay Area: daytime expeditions tracing ridgelines and creeks, honorable wild harvests, potlucks, and salon-style conversations, out of which regeneration projects sometimes emerge.

We're starting a Rogue Valley chapter, and this is the first gathering, hosted by the club's founders, Louis Fox and Brett Anne Balamuth.
We'll open at the Clubhouse with a short introduction from Louis and Brett Anne to what the club is and what a Rogue Valley chapter could become. Then we walk into Lithia Park along Ashland Creek for a first, gentle expedition: reading the watershed, noticing what's in season, and planting the seeds of what we'll explore together this year. The people on this first walk will shape what the chapter becomes.
No expertise needed. Bring curiosity about the place you live, comfortable shoes, and water. Kids welcome.
