Ashland Climate Collaborative presents

Bring your food scraps to ScienceWorks during the Ashland Tuesday Market and participate in composting for climate action. Food scraps are collected and transported to local farms where they enrich soil as nutrient-rich compost. This diverts organic waste from landfills where it would produce methane, a potent greenhouse gas. Accepted items include non-meat food scraps, fruit and vegetable peelings, dairy products, coffee grounds, and more.
