Ashland Climate Collaborative presents

Bring your food scraps to ScienceWorks during the Ashland Tuesday Market and deposit them in compost bins. The collected food waste is delivered to local farms where it enriches soil as natural fertilizer. This initiative diverts organic waste from landfills, preventing methane emissions and supporting climate action. Accepted items include non-meat food scraps, fruit and vegetable peelings, dairy products, coffee grounds, egg shells, and cooked grains. Meat, seafood, yard debris, paper products, and compostable serviceware are not accepted.
