Monster Ball is ScienceWorks' annual Halloween celebration transforming the museum into a spooky playground with hands-on activities, crafts, workshops, and live performances. Featured activities include Ashland Aerial Arts performances, a student-created haunted house, group dancing lessons, science demonstrations, karaoke booths, and a community ofrenda. All activities are included with admission (food truck available separately).

The event celebrates Halloween spirit and community connection while honoring Sarah Wood, whose love of Halloween and gift for bringing people together inspired this beloved tradition. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and enter the costume contest, with categories for all ages judged by Oregon Shakespeare Festival professionals and prizes for scariest, funniest, and cutest costumes.
